A high school diploma and three(3)years experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with the State Human Resources Regulations. A valid motor vehicle operators license.

Job Description:

Performs all the phases of roadway inspection to ensure that construction meets the stand specifications: clearing and grubbing right of way; rough and fine grading; placement of pipe and drainage structures; construction of concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks; compaction of embankments and subgrades; placement of base course; placement of asphalt and bituminous surfacing, grassing, placement of guardrail,and other miscellaneous items. Compiles and records information for daily diary, monthly construction reports and prepares monthly construction estimates. Prepares final construction plans. Assists field survey party. Operates transit and level, including laying outcurves in field for information given on plans. Acts as rodman. Samples construction material. Obtains job control samples. Performs aggregate graduation analysis. Coordinates the location and relocation on roadway construction projects. Performs related duties as requested. Able to lift survey equipment and samples weighing 50 pounds.

Schedule:
Full time. Monday-Friday. 8:30-5:00.
