Requirements:

A high school diploma and two (2) years of experience that is directly related to the area of
employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources
Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License is required.

Job Description:

Acts as inspector on roadway projects. Performs work in at least two or more specialized areas.
Maintains project records. Enters or reviews all daily work reports (DWRs) on assigned projects.
Performs EEO and wage regulation interviews. Performs all required Traffic Control (weekly and
monthly night time) and erosion control inspections. Verifies the accuracy of the certification and
sample logs on assigned projects. Acts as inspector on road projects. Surveys line, and grade
verification. Assists in surveying. Checks and verifies all offsets and grades associated with all
phases of road construction. Performs general office duties. Assists in the preparation of monthly
construction estimates and as-built plans. Assists the administrative assistant with phones, faxes,
and customer service as necessary. Performs other related duties.

Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
