Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in a field related to sports administration or physical education and exercise studies. Master's degree preferred. Must be National Athletic Trainer's Association Board of Certification (NATABOC)certified and eligible for South Carolina certification. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. A valid driver's license and safe driving history are required.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively with faculty, staff, and students. Must have understanding of methods and procedures for training athletes and working with injuries. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations required, and a knowledge of a variety of sports. Ability to satisfactorily teach students in the classroom. Ability to use Microsoft Office.

Job Description:

The Athletic Trainer, under the direction of the Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine, will assist with the health and welfare of all athletes competing in intercollegiate athletics.

Schedule:
Work Hours varied to include evenings, weekends and overnight travel. 10 Month Position (August 1 - May 31)
