An Associate's degree in electronics and experience as a radio or TV technician or in the operation of a broadcast transmitter.
Job Description:
Sets up and operates videotape recorders to record and playback program material. Duplicates program material on various video tape formats. Routes audio and video signals into, out of, and within record room to appropriate videotape recorders using patch fields and routing switchers. Records and edits program material from studios and remote locations.Evaluates program material to ensure that ETV, FCC, EIA, PBS, and SMPTE standards are met. Maintains daily logs and reports.
