GOAL/PROJECT:

Development of CNC machining Process Sheets (Documentation) to standardize adjustments on the CNC machines – Focus on Pierburg 660  program.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

• Create Visual aids for CNC machining process
• Implement program backups of Pierburg CNC machine programs 317, 318, 319 & 320.
• Follow up and confirm testing during and after process changes.
• Develop Tooling consumption cost charts from Pierburg cutting tools.

Quality Intern - Student

GOAL:

To support the Alupress Technical process improvements in the HO660 product & CNC-Casting processes by providing dimensional summary data.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

. Input data into the HO660 Measurements Spreadsheet (machining process).

. Create dimensional control charts to support process engineering in its analysis.

. Create a HO660 Measurements Spreadsheet for casting using the main critical points identified by machining process.

. Correlate casting and machining measurements to support improvements in both processes.

SECONDARY ACTIVITIES:

. Support Quality Engineers to elaborate and improve work instructions for lab and production employees.

.  Monitor the HO660 Process (machining and casting) to assure that instructions have been followed.
