Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent with one to two years of experience in computer operations, general accounting, cash handling, or customer service experience; or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have a valid South Carolina driver?s license.

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented, upbeat, energetic, detailed, positive, customer-oriented individual to join the City?s Customer Services team. If these are qualities that you possess and have experience working with the public, we welcome your application.
Under general supervision, you will perform various general accounting and computer duties to collect payments and deposit receipts for the City. Work involves handling diverse customer inquiries and complaints and preparing work orders related to same, establishing new utility billing and business license accounts. The position requires energy and stamina with long periods of standing to support service counter and drive-through operations within City Hall. The position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.The position will be utilized primarily as back-up in the absence of regular, full-time customer service team members.

Schedule:
The position is non-exempt, hourly, part-time. The position will typically work 20 to 40 hours weekly more or less as needed.
