Wages/Salary: $38,000- $ 42,500 annually
A bachelor's degree in journalism, media, digital communications, mass communications, marketing, or a related field. At least three years of experience in content development (written and visual) for digital platforms such as websites, mobile, social and other digital media. Experience with digital publishing through Content Management Systems required. A valid driver's license and safe driving history. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics.
Experience with higher education marketing preferred.
Familiarity with social networking and website management required. Must have the ability to gather, organize, and present information in a clear, concise and accurate manner. Must be able to handle multiple assignments and meet assigned deadlines. Demonstrated command of journalistic principles, proper grammar and spelling, with strong communication and interpersonal skills required. Must have experience using content tools and DAMs (Adobe Creative Suite, Sprout, Canva) and digital marketing tools (Meta Business Suite, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads).
Working closely with the University’s communications, marketing and website teams, the Digital Content Coordinator (DCC) will be responsible for developing, monitoring and maintaining the University’s social media presence, cultivating and maximizing engagement across a broad array of University maintained social media channels. In addition, the DCC will provide content development assistance and operational support of the University’s website and auxiliary digital properties.
Position Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
