Wages/Salary: $ 65,000- $ 75,000 annually
A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 10 years demonstrated experience in non-profit or higher education environment. Must have strong skills in providing excellent customer service and demonstrate strong ethics. Valid driver's license is required.
Master's Degree preferred. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for Master's Degree.
Ability to establish performance metrics for engagement while monitoring retention and growth. Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external constituencies. Proven skills as a communicator and public-speaker, writer and event-planner. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and effectively develop and grow a dedicated group of volunteers. Excellent project management skills - ability to take lead on multi-functional projects, manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities and competing demands, and adapt to frequent and unexpected changes.
The Director of Parent Engagement is a dynamic leader, responsible for envisioning, executing, and growing a comprehensive, multi-faceted parent engagement program that effectively enhances relationships with the parents of Lander students and facilitates a culture of connection, investment, and student retention. The Director collaborates with University Advancement (UA), the Lander Foundation, Student Success, and other departments across campus (e.g., Admissions/Enrollment Management and Student Affairs) to promote and support meaningful parent engagement through volunteer involvement, strategic events, effective communications, and philanthropic support.
Position Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
