A bachelor's degree in engineering; or a bachelor's degree in engineering technology and two (2)
years of related work experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with
State Human Resources Regulations.
A valid Motor Vehicle's Operator's License.
Trains in the performance of duties related to the maintenance unit using engineering principals
to include the review and coordination of encroachment permit applications, Access and
Roadside Management Standards and coordination with the local County Transportation
Committee. Trains in the use of HMMS: including time entry, DWR's, work requests, deficiency
coordination between entry and completion, and various reporting to supervisors. Trains in the
management of highway and bridge maintenance programs and contracts. Performs other duties
as directed by supervisor. Trains in the review of damage claims and makes recommendations for
payment or denial. Trains in the oversight of maintenance crew activities.
