Requirements:

Must have some electrical or construction experience and be able to demonstrate good planning, organization, and teamwork skills. Must be able to work from a ladder and on a man-lift/boom at significant heights. Must be able to work in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Must have a valid SC driver?s license and be trained (or eligible for certification) to operate a forklift and a 60 ft boom.

Job Description:

Under limited supervision is responsible for preparing the park for various special events. Tasks include building, painting, erecting and dismantling props and lighted images and ?wrapping? trees with lights. This work is very physical; tasks are hands-on and require attention-to-detail. Must be able to follow directions and work independently and have a strong attention to detail. Insures the safety of the public by preparing displays and structures that are structurally sound. Maintains Riverbanks reputation for high quality events and aesthetics. Reports to the Senior Events Technician and the Events Manager.

Schedule:
Part Time - 25 hours per week, must be available nights and weekends
