Field Labor positions

Plant Maintenance General Labor ? 6 openings. This job requires employees to work with their hands, they will lift product continuously up to 50 lbs. And will work outside at least 8 hours a day regardless of weather conditions. Employees are responsible for weeding and trimming plants throughout the farm. Must be able to work some weekends during the spring time, have reliable transportation and the ability to read and write. This is a vary labor intensive job, it requires 8 hours of standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, picking up product from the ground and weeding it or trimming it. Quality Control General Labor- 6 openings. Employees work on the dock to ensure product is ready to be shipped to stores/customers. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (in excess of 8 hours). Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to read and write, work long hours and some weekends during the spring time and have reliable transportation. Must be able to communicate any issues found with plants and work with supervisors in the area to replace any damaged product to ensure only top quality plant material is shipped. Field Labor Tractor Driver- 2 openings. Must have prior experience driving farm tractors and/or heavy machinery. Must be able to read and write. Long hours and some weekends during spring time will be required. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to take direction and deliver daily shipping quotas/goals. Certification is preferred.
Irrigator -1 opening. Candidate must be able to work flexible schedule as needed. Responsible for spraying and watering plants throughout entire farm. Must be able to work independently and communicate any issues to supervisor. Must be able to read and write and follow directions. Scout- 1 opening. Responsible for inspecting plants throughout the farms and report any issues such as pests, fungus, weeds, etc. Must be able to read and write and report observations as well as produce information in report format.
