Wages/Salary: $17-$22/hr depending on experience
Ability to monitor anesthesia properly using both equipment (capnograph, SpO2, EKG, doppler BP, etc.) and physical methods (manual HR, RR, temp, pulse quality, evaluating anesthetic depth, etc.)
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both clients and coworkers
Ability to perform procedures typical of a LVT (blood draws, cystocentesis, IV catheter placement, etc.)
Ability to properly and safely restrain pets for exams and procedures
Ability to think critically and work independently
Pinnacle Veterinary Group is seeking a LVT to lead our medical support team. We are a small animal practice in Clemson, SC. We practice high quality medicine and are currently in the process of becoming AAHA accredited. The ideal candidate for this role is a LVT with experience and confidence in surgery and dental procedures as well as a desire to educate clients so they can be team players in their pets' health care. As a lead tech, this candidate must have strong communication skills, patience, and a love of teaching others.
