Requirements:

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree with accounting related courses and two (2) years of accounting or
bookkeeping experience; or high school diploma and four (4) years of accounting or
bookkeeping experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) or three (3) years of payroll experience. Experience with Ellucian Banner Systems.

Job Description:

Collects and reconciles payroll records, keys actions for new hires, terms, and changes,
processes payroll transactions, and issues payments in a timely manner. Processes temporary
employee paperwork. Documents and files. Processes fiscal- and year-end activities in Banner.

Updates system tables and manuals. Troubleshoots and resolves payroll problems. Works with
employees, ILT, other departments, and banks. Prepares reports, surveys, and responds to
various requests. Must exercise sound judgment and discretion. Must be able to meet strict
deadlines. Must have strong organizational skills. Must be able to establish and maintain
effective relationships.
