1. Grade assignment based primarily upon the individual's level of experience and production capacity. Production goal minimums to be established annually.
2. High School graduate (or equivalent education and related training). Insurance industry experience is a plus.
3. Proven track record and aptitude toward sales
4. Strong interpersonal skills, especially telephone demeanor
5. Strong team player ethics, and willingness to help all reach goals
6. Have appropriate insurance licenses or be willing to become licensed for Property and Casualty Insurance

Job Description:

Primary Purpose:
To sell new personal lines coverages including auto, home, boat and motorcycle insurance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Respond to all quote request and referrals faxed in, mailed in or called in as quickly as possible from time of receipt. Input into system immediately if quotable.
2. Quote and sell appropriate coverages to these prospects with major carriers represented.
3 Develop referral relationships with outside sources such as car dealers, real estate agencies and bankers
4. Obtain expiration dates for other lines of business from referral customers.
5. Solicit referral leads from satisfied customers who were referred to us.
6. Maintain accurate, current knowledge of all company guidelines system wide, including binding authority for each company.
7. Personal Lines new business sales goals will be mutually agreed upon with Insurance Sales Center Manager.
8. Maintain all necessary continuing education classes and other training as deemed appropriate by Manager.
9. Answer the office telephone, take customer payments and prepare bank deposits.
