Job Description:

All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Baptist Easley's values of compassion, dignity, excellence, integrity and teamwork. In addition, this job is also responsible for accurate and timely work in performing patient phlebotomy, ordering/processing laboratory tests, labeling, monitoring computer reports, clerical duties as assigned, and positive and courteous patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

? Shows proficiency in blood collection and performs task in timely and accurate manner. Accurately and efficiently performs "waived" testing as required.

? Receives, greets and assists guests/patients in a timely and courteous manner.

? Answers phone in a courteous, clear and timely manner recording orders for lab tests and accurately giving out appropriate reports to proper personnel.

? Accurately and in a timely manner inputs and accesses information via the hospital and laboratory computer systems.

? Accurately and in a timely manner processes specimens for testing.

? Consistently communicates effectively.

? Positively responds to and implements change.

? Willingly performs other duties as assigned.

Schedule:
PRN - 8 hr rotating shifts, Sun - Sat
