In addition, this job is also responsible for accurate and timely work in performing patient phlebotomy, ordering/processing laboratory tests, labeling, monitoring computer reports, clerical duties as assigned, and positive and courteous patient interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
? Shows proficiency in blood collection and performs task in timely and accurate manner. Accurately and efficiently performs "waived" testing as required.
? Receives, greets and assists guests/patients in a timely and courteous manner.
? Answers phone in a courteous, clear and timely manner recording orders for lab tests and accurately giving out appropriate reports to proper personnel.
? Accurately and in a timely manner inputs and accesses information via the hospital and laboratory computer systems.
? Accurately and in a timely manner processes specimens for testing.
? Consistently communicates effectively.
? Positively responds to and implements change.
? Willingly performs other duties as assigned.
