A high school diploma and administrative or related experience in a human
resources setting. Payroll knowledge and/or experience desired. Bachelor's degree and/or PHR is preferred. Valid driver's license is required. State experience is a plus. Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
Knowledge of University policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain effective working
relationships. Ability to make and communicate decisions effectively both orally and in writing with a
diverse community. Ability to analyze data and present ideas effectively. Must be team oriented.
Ability to use computer effectively. Exercises confidentiality.
Administers pre-payroll and assists with classification and compensation duties as needed.
Manages employee leave program and coordinates employee leave entry on the web. Administers the
Employee Performance Management System for employee evaluations. Provides information to the
Employment Security Commission and processes employment verifications. Interprets and applies
policies and procedures. Serves as back-up for Classification and Compensation Manager.
