Requirements:

?Bachelor?s Degree preferred

?2+ years direct experience in Manufacturing supervision, preferably in a printing or medical device operation

?Practical experience of Six Sigma, 5S or other process improvement methodologies

?Prior experience supervising experience in a manufacturing environment

?Computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office

?Good communication and interpersonal skills

?Practical experience running presses or collators preferred

Job Description:

The Production Supervisor is directly responsible for overseeing the medical device printing/manufacturing operations on 2nd shift. This position is indirectly responsible for the financial performance of the Greenville products and works closely with the Site Management team.

Responsibilities:
?Supervises production personnel for multiple departments on second shift. Motivates and leads team to exceed production and delivery goals.

?Assures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements and good housekeeping practices within the facility as well as compliance with all quality specifications.

?Responsible for meeting production goals through scheduling and assigning work to shift operators.

?Performs quality reviews and checks and documents them per operating procedures.

?Regularly interacts with site management on matters relating to delivery, operational efficiency, quality, compliance and safety.

?Responsible for participating in HR matters such as mentoring, constructive discipline performance reviews, salary planning and interviewing.

?Ensures that internal processes are followed resulting in on time delivery of a quality product.

?Accountable for the operational readiness of the production environment and provides supervisory support and direction during emergency/crisis situations (system and facility.

?Identifies operational and technological factors that impact production and delivery, and proactively makes recommendations for strategic change and/or process improvement.

?Measures and reports key service level deliverables and performance indicators on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure operational goals are met.

?Promotes a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve operational excellence.

?Demonstrate flexibility/adaptability while handling day-to-day challenges confidently, adjusting to multiple demands, and shifting priorities in an environment of ambiguity and rapid change.

?Motivate, develop and retain a strong team that sets high quality standards for performance and is committed to organizational goals.

Schedule:
2nd shift hours: 3:30pm to 12am.
