General Requirements:
* Perform in process inspections and conduct manufacturing process measurements
* Learn and utilize software to record non conformances and provide root cause analysis
* Meet or exceed all customer service expectations
* Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift (with breaks)
* Requires bending, squatting and climbing
* Candidate should have a fundamental understanding of ISO9001/TS16949 quality systems
* Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs
Minimum requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Intermediate mechanical/electrical aptitude
* Strong math skills
Additional skills that are a plus:
* Advanced training in a manufacturing maintenance position
* Military mechanical experience
* Calibration or metrology experience
* Quality control inspection

We have a position available for a full-time QC Technician with potential for advancement in Hartwell, GA
Key Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations while completing responsibilities consistent with the J.A. King & Company, LLC mission, compass, and value system.
* Perform procedures and work assignments in keeping with J.A. King & Co, LLC policy, safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
* Maintain a safety and customer service mindset at all times
* Assure that analytical equipment is in good working order and that calibrations and maintenance activities are executed on schedule
* Coordinate and perform Instrument preventative maintenance and calibration
* Manage QC testing routes and complete requirements by their scheduled completion
* Collect online test equipment for production sampling
* Identify, correct, and document discrepancies in calibration software
* Notify customer with concerns and work collectively with manufacturing and line call technicians to resolve issues
* Document non-conformances and identify equipment trends
* Serve as a back-up for other Calibration Technicians
* Prepare and/or revise necessary calibration procedures
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Meet or exceed all site contractor requirements, including random drug screening, safety practices, GMP practices, ethical conduct, and any other appropriate requirements
* Communicates with management, maintenance, and other employees in a timely manner when quality activities dictate action
* Develop proficiency to train and coach others
* May perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Site Manager
