Wages/Salary: $31,805.00 - $58,848.00 Annually
A high school diploma and six (6) years of progressively responsible field experience in geodetic
surveying or related areas; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State
Human Resources Regulations.
A Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
Performs field inspections on all phases of work being performed by contractors on complex road
and bridge projects during construction. Prepares reports to include daily work reports, erosion
control reports, sampling and testing logs and material certification logs. Trains technicians in all
aspects of construction work to include field inspections, sampling and testing of construction
materials, maintaining daily diaries, and using SiteManager. Performs project closeout duties.
Prepares as-built plans. Completes related forms and reports. Serves as the
agency's representative when meeting with contractors, general public, property owners,
and utility company representatives in answering questions, resolving disputes and satisfying
complaints. Performs other related duties as requested by supervisor.
