Job Description:
The Special Events Manager for the City of Fountain Inn is responsible for planning and producing all special events as scheduled for FI ? including, but not limited to: ?Fridays by the Fountain?, ?Saturday Bluegrass?; ?Christmas Festival?, ?Farmers Market?.
Other responsibility include:
? Produce and manage budgets for all special events as scheduled for FI
? Schedule staff (paid and volunteers) needed to professionally produce special events
? Solicit sponsorships for all special events ? includes sponsorship fulfillment
? Schedule and contract entertainment/vendors for all special events
? City Rentals of Commerce Park ? to include opening, closing, staffing and cleaning
? Work with Director on special projects as requested and required by city needs (openings,city -wide
meetings, etc.)
