Job Summary
Lidl US is looking for motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join our hand-picked Store Management team. Are you an experienced leader who wants to grow with one of the world?s largest retailers as we expand across the United States?
Over the course of your six-month training program, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow both domestically and internationally, learning the business from the ground up, as well as developing and expanding your problem solving, people management, and business skills. Upon completion of the program, our store managers will be at the forefront of our brand new Lidl stores across the United States ? involved in everything from hiring decisions of store personnel to business decisions made within store ? the unique opportunity to actually make an impact on a rapidly-expanding business.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
? Ensure that excellent customer service is instilled in the store culture
? Ensure all customer inquiries are handled appropriately
? Maintain a safe environment for employees and customers
? Lead by example and work within our Company Values
? Motivate employees and create a results-focused working environment
? Manage staffing, onboarding, training, and appraisals for all store employees
? Manage performance through coaching and development
? Ensure a high level of productivity by developing effective and efficient work practices
? Maintain store cleanliness and sanitation standards
? Ensure that product availability, freshness, and quality standards are met
? Oversee loss prevention efforts within the store
? Manage turnover and productivity
? Analyze and improve upon KPIs
? Oversee merchandising of product within the store, including weekly promotions and execution of plans from corporate
? Cash control for the store
? Any other duties as required
