Requirements:

Completion of 2 year degree (4 year degree preferred) in information technology or related field, OR a minimum of 5 years supervisory work experience within a technologically advanced, progressive law enforcement records management system.

Job Description:

Supervises and participates in daily emergency/non-emergency telecommunications; coordinates data processing; provides specialized records management and analysis support; trains, supervises and evaluates the work of subordinates; provides support for system administration functions and performs other related work as required. Administers department grants as assigned; monitors grant analyses and disseminates crime data; develops monthly statistical reports. Enters, maintains, transmits and/or deletes information on SLED's NCIC system. Assists in processing department payroll. Receives, reviews and responds to public inquiries, complaints and requests in a professional manner. Works under general supervision.
