Requirements:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Receive pick-up requests, establish a pick-up schedule, and determine best route information. • Determine whether a donation can be accepted and courteously communicate such to the donor. • Responsible for load being safely secured and road worthy. Perform a final check on load before any departures. • Coordinate with the Thrift Store Manager to establish and implement systems for storage of delivered goods and donations within the Thrift Store and elsewhere on the property. • Assist in the unloading of goods after donations are delivered to the dock area of the Thrift Store and elsewhere on the property. • Responsible for making sure vehicle has been fueled and inspected before departure time. • Always operate Thrift Store vehicles in a safe manner, complying with all laws and policies. • Clean interior and exterior of vehicle on a bi-weekly basis. • Communicate with supervisor about any problems that may arise including delays in pick-ups or deliveries, donor concerns or incidents involving Thrift Store vehicles or personnel as these relate or interfere with safe or efficient fulfillment of driver duties. • Provide training, supervision, and feedback to clients as part of their job readiness training, emphasizing character and work ethic. • Complete all recordkeeping, documentation, and paperwork as required. • Responsible for providing respectful, courteous service with a “can do” attitude; interact with and respond to employees and guests in a professional, helpful manner. • Represent Greenwood Pathway House in a professional manner at all times. • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications: • High school graduate or GED required. • Valid South Carolina Driver’s License with a clean record. • Forklift Operator Certification preferred. • Prefer 2 years of related experience. • Veteran preferred.

Job Description:

This position's primary responsibility is to ensure that donations for the thrift store are safely and courteously picked up from donors and delivered to the store. The driver also moves donated items to the sales floor and loads sold items into customers vehicles.

Schedule:
40 hours/week - Non-Exempt
Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
