Wages/Salary: The state salary range is from $17,310.00 to $32,027.00, annually. The agency hiring range minimum is $21,519.00 and the maximum is $32,027.00.

Requirements:

You will need a 10th grade education; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

You will need to assist with installing driveways, repairing drainage structures, minor ditching, construction and repairs of catch basin; stabilize and patch roadways, and performs minor bridge repairs; train in the operation of 5-yard dump truck hauling equipment and materials to and from job sites. Trains in the operation of front-end loader in the loading of sand, rock, soil, and all materials needed for maintenance operations; Trains in the operation of a backhoe in cleaning ditches and placing pipe. Performs other related duties as required for normal daily operations including flagging, workzone setup and take down, follow vehicle driving, small power took operation, and tree removal. Performs other related duties as required for stand-by crew rotation, emergencies, snow-ice, and equipment operation including plow, loader, or spreader, requiring right-of-way debris removal.

Schedule:
You will work Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:00.
