Wages/Salary: The salary ranges from $16,806.00 to $31,095.00 annually.

Requirements:

The requirements are a 10th grade education; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified
applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

You will need to be able to be trained to operate motorized equipment including tractor mower (sickle/rotary) in clearing grass and small trees from highway right-of-way. Flags traffic using sign board and/or flag to direct traffic safely around and by workers and equipment during roadway maintenance repairs; train in the operation of motorized equipment including slope mower, buzz bar to remove tree
limbs from highway right-of-way; train to operate standard and five yard dump trucks to haul signs, equipment and materials to and from the job site; haul spoiled material away from job site; train to operate a five cubic yard truck with snow plow attachment during inclement weather; operate chain saw in clearing right-of-way by hand. Performs miscellaneous related duties as required. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as per equipment specifications; conduct and document pre-operation vehicle and equipment inspection.

Schedule:
The normal work schedule would be Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
