Requirements:

A 10th grade education; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. (NOTE): This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

Performs manual duties on asphalt patching crew including assisting with driveway paving, patching edges and potholes, leveling roadway, and other duties as required. Trains to operate 5-yard and tandem dump trucks hauling equipment and materials to and from work sites. Performs other related duties as required for normal daily operations including flagging, work zone setup and take down, follow vehicle driving, and small power tool operation. Performs other related duties as required for stand-by crew rotation one week out of seven, emergencies, snow and ice, and equipment operation requiring right-of-way debris removal.

Schedule:
FTE - Full-Time, Monday - Friday (8:30 - 5:00)
