Wages/Salary: The salary will be between $31,182.00 and $57,695.00, annually.

Requirements:

You will need a high school diploma and seven and one-half (7.5) years of related trades experience; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations; a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License. This position requires a valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License within six (6) months of placement in the position. However, applicants without a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License will be considered if no qualified applicants with a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License are available.

Job Description:

You will plan, organize, instruct, and supervise foremen in all phases of Newberry County maintenance operations in accordance with Department procedures, rules and regulations; check and consult with foremen and work crews each working day; review daily, weekly, or monthly reports, time sheets, and cost records; recommend personnel actions including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary measures; rates employees as needed according to EPMS; communicate with local officials, administrators, and public while investigating field complaints. YOu will also, contact property owners who have requests, complaints, or damages; recommend to supervisor the necessary action to be taken; utilize HMMS and other computer programs to enter data regarding work requests and maintains level of completion in
accordance with Business Plan goals; check data entered by Foremen and compiles daily, weekly, and monthly reports of the sames. Performs other related maintenance duties as required; including on-call as needed for supervising or performing the emergency on-call operations.

Schedule:
Your work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 to 5:00.
