Treasurer Clerk

Saluda County is accepting applications for Treasurer Clerk. Duties include, but are not limited to under general supervision, provides assistance to the Treasurer.  Collect taxes, collects fees, performs accounts payable functions. Revokes licenses, and performs basic record keeping duties; Collection of taxes involves collecting, balancing and depositing monies received from taxpayers for current property, and vehicles. Prepares reports to ensure daily balancing; transporting deposits to bank; typing written responses to mortgage companies, and to property owner if paying the incorrect amounts. A complete job description may be obtained from Saluda County Treasurer. Applications along with resume and a ten year driving record may be submitted to Tiffany Shaw, Saluda County Treasurer, Saluda County Courthouse, Saluda, S.C. or emailed to t.shaw@saludacounty.sc.gov  Position is open until filled.
