Veterinary Laboratory Technician

Veterinary Diagnostic Pathology, LLC is seeking a laboratory technician to join a  diagnostic laboratory team that supports poultry production and research. 

Qualifications

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in laboratory or medical technology, or a registered veterinary technician, or two years of technical experience in medical or veterinary diagnostic laboratory work. 
• Experience with ELISA serology, PCR, and other molecular-based assays is preferred. 
• Experience in laboratory or clinical quality management is desirable.
• Experience in bacteriology and pathology technical support is applicable.
• Course work, degrees, and/or laboratory experience in poultry science, animal/dairy science, food science, food safety, public health, biology, and microbiology will be considered.

Position location:  Polkton, NC (southern rural perimeter of Charlotte, NC).

Salary:   Negotiable
