This is a veterinary diagnostic laboratory position that may involve any of the following testing services: serology, bacteriology, PCR and related testing, veterinary pathologist support and animal pathology specimens, and general laboratory duties.
Veterinary Diagnostic Pathology, LLC is seeking a laboratory technician to join a diagnostic laboratory team that supports poultry production and research.
Qualifications
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in laboratory or medical technology, or a registered veterinary technician, or two years of technical experience in medical or veterinary diagnostic laboratory work.
- Experience with ELISA serology, PCR, and other molecular-based assays is preferred.
- Experience in laboratory or clinical quality management is desirable.
- Experience in bacteriology and pathology technical support is applicable.
- Course work, degrees, and/or laboratory experience in poultry science, animal/dairy science, food science, food safety, public health, biology, and microbiology will be considered.
Position location: Polkton, NC (southern rural perimeter of Charlotte, NC).
Salary: Negotiable
