Requirements:

MINIMUM AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:


A high school diploma and four (4) years of work experience that is directly related to the area of employment; or an approved acceptable equivalence in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.

A valid Motor Vehicle Operator's License is required.

Job Description:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Executes all aspects of personnel policies and procedures for a workforce of up to 65 employees including payroll, employee orientation disciplinary action, workers' comp, benefits counseling, insurance information, and recruiting coordination. Utilizes HMMS and SCEIS to input/track daily items including work requests daily work reports, time, and personnel information.


Organizes, assigns, and reviews work performed by Administrative staff. Monitors worktime and subordinates' work to ensure complete coverage of office duties within rules. Liaison between agency management and the general public to provide information and address concerns. Assists training coordinator evaluating existing employee certifications to determine if requirements are met for a specific area, assists in setting training schedule. Coordinates with staff compiling materials and research data prior to scheduled meetings, damage claims, budgetary requests; makes recommendations regarding information obtained. Prepares reports with appropriate material, ensuring accuracy prior to obtaining signatures. Coordinates all incoming/outgoing mail to include pickup and distributing as necessary, ensuring reporting schedules are met. Performs other related duties as required including preparing correspondence as needed.
