    • Implements All Sunshine House Programs (i.e. SSH App, Seeds of Literacy, etc.)
    • Child portfolios up to date with observations and work samples
    • In class time four to five hours alternating CMT scheduled responsibilities four to three hours
Job Description:

The individual in this position will conduct orientation, onboard new team members, support staff implementation of Sunshine House programming. This includes curriculum, health and safety, family relationships, professionalism, and professional development. The Center Mentor position is an opportunity for growth and development of the designated staff member. The Center Mentor team member is an individual who embraces the Sunshine House Mission, Vision, and Culture.


will include but will not be limited to the following

  • Attending webinars on training expectations and resources
  • Conduct new hire orientation, on-boarding, and on-going coaching of day care staff
  • Working alongside teachers in classrooms to model best practices in implementation of Sunshine House Curriculum
  • Track teammate training hours and provide monthly progress reports to preschool Director
  • Provides monthly programming checklist to Education Specialist
  • Ensures Child Portfolios are in place in each classroom
  • Other duties as assigned to meet the needs of our program
