Requirements:

Requires a high school diploma.  Must be able to read instrument dials and gauges.  Must be able to communicate and relay information in an efficient manner.  Must possess and maintain a valid state of South Carolina driver's license.  Must be responsible and very dependable.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE LEVEL

One to two years of law enforcement, emergency response, strong customer relations, or other control room applications is preferred. 

Job Description:
  • Under remote supervision, performs monitoring, recording, and documenting the flow of natural gas from the city gate to customers.  Reports to the Assistant General Manager.
  • Monitor the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) measurement instruments’ readings, and data to observe normal operation flows of the natural gas system. 
Schedule:
Position working hours are off hours and will include varying shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays to fill in during the absence of full-time employees.
