Job Summary:

As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Intern, you will play a critical role in helping to promote and maintain a safe and environmentally responsible work environment. You will help to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company policies related to environmental protection, occupational health, and workplace safety. You will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to develop and implement effective EHS programs, monitor their effectiveness, and provide guidance and training to employees.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on safety procedures, hazard communication, emergency response, and other EHS-related topics.
  • Help to maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, including incident reports, inspection findings, training records, and permits.
  • Stay updated on current EHS regulations, industry best practices, emerging trends, and recommend necessary changes to policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and assess environmental impacts of operations, such as waste management, air emissions, water quality, and energy consumption.
  • Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility by promoting awareness, participation, and engagement at all levels of the organization.
