Requirements:

A high school diploma plus three (3) years? experience in information technology, electronics technology systems, or other related areas is required. Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related field, or Associate degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or related field is preferred. Certifications such as A+, Network+, and MSDST are preferred.

Job Description:

This employee will be the primary service technician for all IT needs at the Tyger River Campus. The employee will set up, maintain, troubleshoot, support and modify all personal computer software, hardware, and peripherals including but not limited to telephones, fax machines, PDAs, laptop PCs, tablet PCs, desktop printers, network printers, multimedia equipment (projectors, document cameras, etc.) as well as providing instruction and consultation. The technician will also perform troubleshooting for Distance Learning issues. In addition, the employee may be called upon to do network wiring under the direction of the Network Manager.

Schedule:
8:00 a.m. ? 5:00 p.m., Monday - Thursday with a 1 hour lunch and 8:00 a.m. ? 1:30 p.m., Friday
