Piedmont Technical College and Presbyterian College recently signed an articulation agreement that will create a bridge program for students who would like to begin their studies at Piedmont Tech, and then transfer to Presbyterian College.
Every private residence, business, industry and agency needs the skill of technicians trained in the installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating systems. Because these systems are increasing in complexity, skilled technicians are in continuous demand to keep them running at maximum capacity.
Electricity has always been in Wade Smith’s blood. It’s been passed down in his family over three generations. And he is sharing that knowledge with the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) technology students at Piedmont Technical College.
Greenwood Partnership Alliance in association with Piedmont Technical College recently held the inaugural Greenwood County Business and Industry Showcase, which featured more than 20 Greenwood industries that provided information to approximately 1500 area 10th and 11th graders, as well as seniors from the G. Frank Russell Technology Center. The showcase was hosted in the James Medford Family Event Center at Piedmont Tech.
Piedmont Technical College students who had outstanding academic accomplishments during the 2015 summer term have earned inclusion on the President’s List, Dean's List and Merit List.
