Job Description:

Our internship programs offer students the opportunity to shadow our staff and gain hands-on experience in a wide range of areas. Here are the types of internships we offer and the fields of study they typically support but keep in mind, this is not an exhaustive list. We are able to tailor internships to meet the needs of students. Let us know how we can accommodate you.

Areas: Counseling, Social Work, Health Services, Human Services, Sociology, Psychology and Public Health

Through an internship with our Vocational Training and Supervised Living programs, you will observe and support licensed master social workers (LMSW), certified brain injury specialists (CBIS) and other staff members who:

  • Provide rehabilitation support (RS) — interventions and assistance to improve a condition or to sustain optimal functioning in a person with a behavioral health disorder and functional deficit. RS focuses on the restoration or strengthening of skills that are necessary for increased independence and stability in living, learning, social, and working environments.
