Three Piedmont Technical College employees have been named Outstanding Educators for the 2014 – 2015 academic year and were honored at a recent South Carolina Technical Education Association conference.
Piedmont Technical College offers a number of programs that connect graduates with careers after completing a two-year degree. For students who are fascinated by the big impact technology has on our lives, and enjoy a hands-on approach to problem-solving, that career could likely be engineering technology.
Young people looking for something different, fun and exciting to do this summer will find several options available from Piedmont Technical College. A variety of educational as well as entertaining camps and programs will be offered for kids of all ages.
Piedmont Technical College’s building construction technology program recently won the 2015 Service Learning Award presented by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education. The program was honored for their work on a renovation project at the Ninety Six National Historical Site, locally known as Star Fort.
Clay Sprouse, pharmacy technology program director at Piedmont Technical College, has been named the 2015 South Carolina Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SCSHP) Pharmacy Technician of the Year.
