CDL-A Permit Prep Course

This 25-hour online class provided by Piedmont Technical College along with the SC Department of Education gives participants the knowledge needed to take the Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) exam for Class- B permits. Participants must have a copy of current SCDMV Commercial Driver’s Manual, which is available as a free download at https://www.scdmvonline.com/forms-andmanuals or which may be purchased at any SCDMV locations. Participants will need access to a computer, tablet, or similar device and a reliable internet connection to participate. Participants will be required to get their DOT physical (long form) before the class ends.
